I was wondering when all the strikes are on the hull is the ship eventually to be covered with thin layer of filler to finish it or is it ment to be sanded straje, reason being mine had irregularities in strips so I applied small filler and do that as I go but if was ment to expose strokes I would scrip them in

The hull of any wooden ship build should be sanded down with the use of filler being kept to a minimum.... There are a number of excellent video's on the tube on how to sand down wooden hulls and achieve a beautiful finish.....
