After completing my Vic i`ll go for something completely different.
It´s been about 20years that i built a plastic model - at that time i just had some brushes, a bad plastic glue and just a few colours that were available.
So one can say i have no experiance regarding modern plastic modelling.
But i`m eager to learn all those "new" techniques, especially airbrushing (my wife got me one as a christmas present!)
So let`s give it a go!
Greetings, Walter

That's a nice start on the ejector seat Walter, looking good with some nice dry-brushing technique to bring out the detail, and great to see that you've scratchbuilt some seat cushions too - well done.
Great to see another aviation build on the forum, I will be following your progress!

Thanks Kev and Alan!
Well i must say - as it stands now - i spend more time with cleaning my airbrush and remove blockage than actually painting parts :)
We`ll see how this works out!Greetings, Walter

Hello Walter,
If your airbrush is constantly clogging up, you've probably got the air pressure too low or the paint too thick, or both? Try thinning your paint to about 50/50 paint/thinners and setting your air pressure (if you can) to about 15-20psi? That should help.
Difficult things to master, airbrushes, but once you understand how to set them up and mix the paint correctly, you'll never use a brush again apart from painting small details or dry brushing!

Nice work on the cockpit Walter and considering this is not your normal genre or kit material, I think you're doing a very good job!
Well done, keep it up, will be watching.
