Many thanks for looking in and leaving such positive and kind comments guys, very much appreciated as always! ThumpUp

@ Mick - Thankyou for that accolade mate, if you need any help with advice or techniques during your double WnW build then please just ask!

@ Carl - I was always going to build this model Carl, as it's my first WnW kit and the model is more important to me than money, regardless of what they sell for. I do have another WnW kit in my stash, which is my absolute 'Holy Grail' of all models, not just WnW kits. It's the giant WW1 flying boat, the Felixstowe F.2a (late) bought recently from a very kind friend at a great price and which will also be built one day. I will not be selling it!

Thanks again guys. ThumpUp

Kev, the only way to describe that cockpit painting is exquisite!Cool Cool Cool The different surfaces like the wood, metal and wickerwork are perfect. Like you, I much prefer to super-detail by scratch building but as you say, this kit doesn't need much!
Ah, control cables, that brings back memories, fiddly flipping things, especially on cardboard!BigGrin
This one's definitely on the way to museum quality!Drool

Loving this.

Many thanks for looking in and your great comments Andy, Mark and Robin, greatly appreciated as always! ThumpUp

@ Robin - Yes, great fun trying to make what is just a plastic moulding, look like different materials altogether! The metalwork is easy if you use the right paints and a subtle wash, the wood texture a little more demanding but the leather is the most fun to recreate and get it looking right!

Cheers again guys, on to the fuselage next!
