Hi , well my kit finally come today and on the hole quit happy with what I got ,nice quality parts and from the quick look that I had, the lazar parts seem well cut to. Though was surprised that there was no check list to make sore ever thing was there .Tool kit was good quality. Any way to the important stuff have now made a start and but my first four wooden parts together and started the bridge . Will take some pictures when I finished the first packs

Hi just an up date on the build of my Yamato, well so far so good have managed to get the frames and decking sorted see picture . Not used to keep switching from wood work to metal work. Don't like glueing small painted parts on finished parts rather build the control tower then paint it.

My Yamato is coming along nicely now. I've decided not to do it by the book but by building the wood work side of thing,s first and then go back to the metalwork once the hull is nearly done , (beside,s I'm better at wood work then metal). Hear were I'm up to now all most finished the port side of the blanking.
