Well i took the plunge and raided the piggy bank and here's what arrived today in pack 1.
A closer look at the usual top quality parts.
Although it feels a little strange not being able to put anything together i'm sure pack 2 will be along in a month BigGrin

Pack 2 has arrivedBigGrin

The parts unwrapped, the fork leg, engine crankcases and cylinder are metal but the disc is plastic.
Just a push fit for the left hand switchgear and mirror but a nice touch is the spring loaded clutch lever Cool
A close up of the mirror and switchgear detail.
Only a month to wait BigGrin

Pack 3

The fork springs are quite stiff and bigger diameter than i thought they would be.
The first part of the frame
Like the clutch lever the brake lever is sprung loaded and the throttle has a smooth action.
Attached the parts to the handlebars.
A close up of the crisp printing on the switchgear

Thats it for a few weeks.

Pack 4
Not a great deal to show this month Huh
Parts unwrapped, usual good quality and the screw guide is a useful item and once the build is complete the contents can be used for other projects.BigGrin
Not exactly sure why the brake caliper is spring loaded, but screws onto the fork leg, perhaps an Allen key should have been included with this pack.
Although not strictly part of this months build i jumped ahead to assemble the tank.Cool

Looking forward to the next parts.

BigGrin Hi Al, nicely done as for the spring loading I think its so the caliper head seats well onto the disc to make it look more realistic.Cool

Pack 5

The screwdriver is a useful addition and i was surprised at how heavy the helmet was Blink
Handlebar mount assembled as per instructions but i preferred to use a 3.2mm spanner rather than pliers.
Clock assembled just like the CB750 and the Busa and are nicely printed. Not sure what the marks are on the pic as the part is perfectly clear.
Nice attention to detail on the mirrors, with a warning about things being closer than they appear.

BigGrin Nice work on the build, like you I was suprised at the weight of the helmet. The surface scratches are just that not visible to the naked eye but the camera picks them up, most clear plastic has them but never seen.Cool
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
