Congratulations on the Build of the Month award Chris, richly deserved as all have said above. This kit is coming together beautifully with a lovely clean and detailed look to her. Those rope 'brackets' look perfectly good to me too!Cool
This is going to be a lovely model!

Only a small amount of modelling lately due a touch of ill health (non Covid).
Almost back to normal now so a few progress pics.
Also got to check today to see if my local modelling shop is open to get some more supplies.

Thanks John.
I'm getting a bit nervous now as very soon the rigging looms into view.
I've built a good few ships before but nothing like this.

The more I see this the more I'm loving it Chris, stunning work throughout. Love Love .. Don't be too worried about the rigging, the instructions really do take you through the process step by step and its not as difficult as it may appear. Will be following along with you....Cool Cool

Thank you Derek.
I had not realised there was a medal for 500 posts so that was a nice surprise.

Just in case any one is interested, I was shown this Pinterest link today.

**Apologies, I tried to upload the link but it won't work at the moment. I'll try and find another method.**
(You can see that I'm a real "techie" can't you?)

Both catheads made, painted and fitted with a small decorative strip of my own. Not too sure I like it now they're fitted though?
I also dropped in the fore mast and added the lower shroud lines.
I hope the method of numbering which I have survives all the fettling that will now ensue.

All looking good Chris, this is where she'll really start looking like a period ship. As for the numbering of the shrouds, I attached a small piece of tape on the ends of the shrouds and wrote the number on the tape. This method survived all the fettling. The chances of your shrouds remaining taped to the hull is I think going to be rather slim....

Alan
