Now this is really interesting.

I thought (wrongly) you had yourself a plastic kit to build. Never realised it was one of the card kits.

And your take on converting it to wood is really interesting.

I hope you get on really well with your build and i will be eagerly following along to see how you get on.

Thanks for popping' in and taking the time to comment

Starting to glue the frames to the keel

As the frames go into the keel from the bottom.....
I applied the glue liberally and brushed into the joins

Too lazy to remove from jig apply glue to keel and frame then try and get everything back Bored into the jig again

Made a start on the lower frame supports ...following as per CARD build

These were made out of 3mm mdf instead of 2mm

This should offer more area to glue the "planking" or "inner skin" between the frames then sand flush with the frames

Also 3mm mdf is cheaper than 2mmLOL Flapper LOL
