Good evening from 'The Dockyard'.

Just a very short update this week.

I have started to make the couplers that connect the main motors to the propeller shafts.

Didn't make as much progress as i would of liked this week due to the fiddly nature of this work.

In the attached photo you can see the white blocks marked with arrows and another set with a brass rod between them. It was fitting these blocks that proved tricky, especially the ones with the brass rod lying between them. Many attempts required as the blocks kept falling down into the bilge and lots of turning the u-boat upside down to retrieve them!Confused Blink Crying.

I then started to make up the cylinder shapes to represent the couplers, in a similar way i made the basic shapes of the main motors.
