how about a traction engine, showman's engine or a road roller [either diesel or steam powered] but electric/battery powered as I know that purely steam powered would be a H&S & production nightmare but interesting.

Showmans engine sounds good because apart from it being very colourful it could be fitted out with all thise lights you tend to see

A showmans engine with a sam organ trailer would be spectacular, especially if it played a couple of tunes

can you imagine it trundling along playing I do like to be beside the seaside Cool Cool Cool Cool

Problem will be that "Wilesco" already make a range of LIVE steam engine kits, so unlikely to be a viable release.
Shame cos I like the idea.Blink Blink

The only showmans engine kits I know of are the true live steam versions and they cost thousands of dollars.there was a Bandai showmans engine kit that was offered years ago.it is now a collectors item and goes for crazy money on ebay. I have one in my stash that I picked up a while ago before it got to silly prices to build. Its a pretty nice kit.

Carl

BTW tnequette on this forum posted some pics of his build of the Bandai kit and it is a stunner

see the pics here

Now that would be something good Cool

It would probable create a good magazine series if they ever did something like this.

Carl

That was a brilliant build Nemesis did and on the strength of seeing the kit managed to track one down at a very decent price but as you say many of the kits go for crazy money.
