Getting the Victory from DeAg was one of the best decisions I ever made.

If you are in two minds, go for it. You won't regret it.

PS I am not affiliated with the company in any way.

The price seems to have increased dramatically considering you get less.

12 Month £44.99, 24 Month £79.99, Full Kit £849.99

Not that I need the magasines or binders, the official build log is very good.

That price though, the full kit seems to have shot up by £200 since I last looked or am I mistaken?

Victory was released in April 2010 @ £5.99 per issue. In effect the full kit cost in 2010 was £719 - the difference in current price is approx £131, which is as a result of material, production and shipping costs all having increased since 2010.

Many thanks for clarifying, I didn't find the prospect of paying such a substantial extra cost particularly appealing, but after you explained above an increase of £131 over ~9 years seems reasonable and inline with inflated costs.

With that in mind I think I've made my decision to go ahead, just need to decide on 12 months or full kit, I think the full kit is probably the right choice since I can put the extra I save into getting started on my tools for this and future builds.

I expect the project to take me quite a long time since I'm a novice at wooden ship building, is there a parts list I can check when I get the full kit to confirm it is all there? Would hate to get to a later stage and find I'm missing something substantial but too much time has passed to expect a replacement free of charge.
